Event overview
NAWBA is very excited to present the 2012 Championships, which will feature schutzhund, conformation, and character testing. Below are details on the invited judges. For more information on scheduling, location, venues, etc, please use the links above and to the right!
Schutzhund
Venue: Lower Mainland German Shepherd Club www.lmgsdc.com located 10 minutes from main venue.
Tracking fields to be announced closer to the trial as they are subject to weather and haying. Most tracking fields
are within 10 minutes of main venue.
Judge: Jan Hrouda
Helpers: TBA
Note: if you know you are going to participate in schutzhund please let your intentions be known
as we will need to decide on helpers and where they will come from. Brian Currey recommended the judge and has a
helper in Calgary that he has recommended but I will need to know some numbers to help justify spending the extra
on travel when I can get local helpers.
French Ring
Venue: My place! 3507 - 176 Street, Surrey, BC, Canada. Six kilometers north of the Pacific Truck Crossing - USA/Canada Border.
Judge: Dominique Piton
Decoys: "Herve Mavuanga, a famous decoy level 3 and a young one but very nice and bouvier trainer Arnaud Deboissy who is level 2" quoted from an email from Karin Carporal.
Karin Carporal and Benoit will be coming and bringing Buddy to compete. She is also asking other french bouvier people if they would like to attend. Last time when the group came they managed to book a charter flight so it was more economical.
At this time I have full sponsorship for accomodations and flights for the judge and both decoys. I only need to worry about their meals onsite and thank you gifts.
Herding
